they were canvassing about a suspicious vehicle. She had no idea her
husband — a public elementary school principal — was already the subject

hash-matching system. By the time detectives sat him down in the
interview room, they already had his email, his username, his IP
addresses, and a court-signed subscriber warrant with his name on it.
He walked in with a cover story about a hacked account. He walked out

Jeremy Williams pleaded guilty to possession-related counts and was
sentenced to 61 months in prison. Authorities publicly stated they did
not believe any students from his school district were involved in the
material at the center of the investigation.
